Vehicular Counter Drone System for Convoy Protection
Netline's DroneNet Vehicular Counter Drone system offers a two-layered solution for detecting and mitigating unauthorized drones, providing a safe environment while driving military vehicles or VIP convoys. The system creates a virtual protection dome over the tactical forces, preventing hostile drones from compromising the forces in action.
Two-Layered Tactical Counter Drone Defence
The use of drones for different attack missions is increasing sharply, posing a major challenge to military, domestic law enforcement and homeland security agencies.
The DroneNet's comprehensive protective envelope consists of two defence layers operating sequentially in real-time and activated automatically or manually upon threat detection.
From preliminary detection to threat mitigation, the Vehicle Mounted DroneNet provides a holistic solution for continuous aerial situational awareness. The system is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and is MIL-STD 810 compliant.
Drone Detection & Identification
DroneNet's passive detection and identification techniques are based on continuous analysis of time & frequency domains by RF sensor. Preloaded spectral signatures of all commercially available drones are used as the system's database. Once a drone has been detected, the system's tablet activates an alert, and the software shows the drone's type and band.
DroneNet's low false alarm rate of is achieved by using an SDR, being completely agnostic to the drone's protocol data (which might be encrypted or technically challenging to acquire) resulting in a fast-evolved signatures database.
Drone Mitigation
Upon detection, the drone jamming segment blocks the communication between the drone and its operator on ISM bands, as well as the GNSS signal used by the drone. Netline's DroneNet jammer covers all potential drone frequencies and disabling the drone's control & telemetry channel, resulting in loss of control over the drone. The Jammer blocks the video downlink transmission and the drone's navigation & stabilization capabilities.
