Night Vision Devices (NVD) is pleased to announce the release of the WORLD's LIGHTEST fully functional Night Vision Monocular. The new Ultra-Light PVS-14 (UL PVS-14) Night Vision Monocular utilizes new MIL SPEC light weight optics and a revised battery housing which uses digital push button switches instead of the heavy analog switches. This combination of lighter weight components results in an unheard of system weight of only 237 grams (minus battery) as compared to the standard AN/PVS-14 weight of 355 grams (minus battery).
The new UL PVS-14 includes all of the features included with a normal AN/PVS-14, but it achieves this with a 95 gram lighter weight body. These features include a Full Diopter Adjustment Range (-6 to +2), Infrared LED, Gain Control, IR/Low Battery Indicator, flip up turn off and flip down turn on features and the versatility to be handheld, head/helmet mounted or weapon mounted.

The newly revised battery housing has push button switches that offer the same features of the standard PVS-14: one button for power on/off, one button for turning on and off the IR LED, and two switches (+/-) for raising and lowering the Gain Control. These switches are positioned in such a way as to be easily operated with tactical gloves. The IR LED button allows for Morse Code signaling, just like the standard AN/PVS-14. The UL PVS-14 has a run time of 50 plus hours on one alkaline AA battery.

The new light weight MIL SPEC UL PVS-14 optics are also optimized for White Phosphor (P-45) image intensifiers, which result in an overall better image with white phosphor tubes than standard optics. With our expansive capabilities and strategic partnerships, we are able to custom build any of our NVD manufactured products with Image Intensifiers from either Elbit Systems of America, Photonis or L3Harris. This includes green and white phosphor and thin or un-filmed image tubes. The UL PVS-14 is also covered by our best in the business warranty of (10) ten years.
