LEONIDAS® COUNTER-ELECTRONICS
Our Leonidas family of products utilizes solid-state, software-defined high-power microwave (HPM) technology to enable unmatched counter-electronics effects for a range of use cases. Counter-UAS will be the first mission application of our systems, but our technology is effective against a range of electronic threats beyond just drones.

Smaller, smarter, and safer than anything on the market today.
Leonidas Pod is a first-of-its-kind, mobile and compact directed energy system with multiple mount options to allow for maximum flexibility. The system utilizes the latest solid-state technology from Epirus and can be applied to a range of counter-electronics use cases and mission needs. With a unique form factor and open control architecture, Leonidas Pod can integrate with existing airborne systems to go where end users want it to go.

Technology Differentiators

Size, Weight & Power (SWaP)
Traditional HPM is decades-old, bulky technology that requires a team of people to operate. At Epirus, we've designed our HPM system to be easily maneuverable, upgradable and operated with just a few people.

Software-Defined
With waveform optimization and more efficient firing tactics, we are able to increase range via software, without costly hardware redesigns. Our system gets smarter and more effective with every test.

Human Safe
Low operating voltages, the lack of ionizing radiation, and the ability to software control safe-zones means that our Leonidas HPM systems are safe for both people and friendly assets.

Modular & Scalable
Our unique design leverages line replaceable amplifier modules (LRAMs). This modular approach allows us to rapidly develop new form factors and install system upgrades in unprecedented timeframes.

Open API
Leonidas can integrate with a variety of command and control (C2) systems due to its open architecture. This includes FAAD C2, used by the Army for c-UAS and other forms of air defense.
